Holy Cross Family Ministries visits families every Wednesday in our Home Visit Programme as away of promoting the spiritual well-being of the family, being faithful to Mother Mary we encourage ''Family Prayer''especially the ''Holy Rosary''.
This time around we visited the family of the late Tom Ndugga of Kassangombe village in Wakiso District.
We received a warm welcome from Mrs. Patricia Kyebambe (a friend of Holy Cross Family Ministries) and her mother Jessica Ndugga to their home.
The late Ndugga was a journalist by proffession, worked with Radio Uganda as a news anchor. He broadcasted the first Uganda Independence in 1962.
He also broadcasted the Pope’s visit in 1993 at Namugongo Shrine in Kampala.
Ndugga died of a liver failure last month at his home, at the age of 73.
‘’I lost my husband, a friend and a brother to a liver failure. He died in pain, this sickness started with a backache, but it was serious and ended up as a liver failure and took my loved one.
I thank God that he was a loving husband and a father to my children, May the almighty Lord give him Eternal Rest’’……said Jesicca
The late Tom Ndugga and the wife Jessica Ndugga celebrated 40 years in marriage in March this year, and was blessed by His Eminence, Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala at their home in Wakiso,Kassangombe village.
As Holy Cross Family Ministries,we strengthened the family in this trying moments with a Divine Mercy Rosary and also prayed for God’s mercy on the soul of the late Ndugga. We prayed for God’s continuity in comforting this family for the loss of the loved one.
