7th October is a feast for us here at Holy Cross Family Ministries, Kampala, where we join the the Catholic Church to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary during our Annual Children Rosary Rally.
We have been inviting children from different schools previously, because of the pandemic and they are home we celebrated the day with only Nsambya Parish where at least 100 children joined us for the day.
The intention for the Children Rosary Rally Event is to help the children learn how to pray the Rosary and love Mother Mary.
During the Eucharistic Celebration, Fr.Victor Mubiru urged the participants to pray the Rosary more during this Month of the Holy Rosary
‘‘Utilize this Month of the Holy Rosary to seek for Mother Mary’s intercession, always run to her for help especially in this tough times of the pandemic.….said the main celebrant Fr.Victor Mubiru,Youth Chaplain,Nsambya Parish yesterday during his homily at the Children Rosary Rally.
He added and urged participants who are still weak in learning how to pray the Rosary to utilize this Month of the Holy Rosary.
”Start with one decade then with time you will be able to complete the full rosary……emphasized Fr.Victor.
We started the day with praying the Rosary, Holy Mass, skits on mysteries, remarks from the Director and ended the day with lunch.
