Holy Cross Family Ministries organized a special prayer session on October 29th 2016, to thank the lord for the month of October which is dedicated to Mother Mary, and pray through her intersession to grant peace and unity to the families and the country at large.

The prayers started with a special teaching on the love and beauty of mother Mary, the holy Rosary, penance and mass taken under the theme the glory and power of mother Mary in the church.

Fr. Anthony Ndawula from Kiwamirembe catholic shrine led the special prayers urging people to learn the literature about Mother Mary, adding that her virtues to the believers are prayer, repentance and unity.
Fr. Anthony reminded people of most the apparitions where Mother Mary has appeared, her cry for penance and prayer has been enormous given the way the world is moving, that is full of deceit, envy, corruption, murder and bad leadership which have led to suffering of many.
He challenged people to be strong in faith, avoid hypocrisy and miraculous power which is driving many out the Catholic Church thinking that instant miracles is the life to live.
Fr. Antony emphasized need for people to comprehend the world of God, learn and love their faith that they will be able to protect it and live by it.
The Director Holy Cross Family Ministries East Africa, Fr. Lenard Olobo, CSC, said that the ministry’s obligation is to advertise and sell prayer because without prayer world challenges derail humanity so he emphasized the slogan, ‘’
‘’The Family that Prays Together Stays Together’’.

The prayers were held at Nsambya Parish Mother Mary grotto to build the love and more understanding of Mother Mary.
More than 150 Christians participated in this event and were grateful for the organization.
Holy Cross Family Ministries started the Month of the Holy Rosary on 7th October with the Children rosary rally, have reached out to the prisoners and others in need with some basic materials for life, counseling and running media programs about the importance of prayer and Mother Mary to all.
