Hand over and farewell

Holy Cross Family Ministries Kampala region, bid farewell to Fr.Chris C.S.C (former Director) and welcomes Fr.Leonard Olobo C.S.C (new Director) officially.

At around 6pm yesterday (1^st/9/2015) we were already at Humura Resorts in Kampala where a dinner was organized bidding fare well to the out-going director and welcoming a new one. The team members were smartly dressed in suits (gents) and dresses (ladies) to honor the occasion.

David Kimera represented the team, thanked Fr. Chris for being a father to us and helping us build our professions. He promised him that he will always be in our prayers.

Patrick Peyton Guild was represented by Mrs. Lule Paula(treasurer) and Mrs. Florence Akugizibwe (guild leader) who thanked Fr.Chris for a good relation he had with the guild members.

She also promised to co-operate with Fr. Olobo C.S.C just like other directors in the ministry. Mrs.Florence has been the guild leader for over 10 years now.

As a guild leader she requested Fr.Olobo that there’s a need for seminar and workshops to help families with challenges.

Fr.Chris received gifts from the team and prayer guild members; he has been the Director of East Africa for 18 months.

The new Director,Fr.Olobo thanked Fr.Chris for good work he has done for the ministry,he promised to continue from where Fr.Chris has stopped.

Fr.Chris led the prayer and the final blessing.
