Holy Cross Family Ministries Kampala region visited Claire a teacher at Jack and Jill Kabalagala Nsambya, who narrated to us her story that led her to breaking 3 ribs.
It was on a Sunday morning, as I was walking on a pavement from St. Peters’ Catholic Church Nsambya to home, when i hard a vehicle knock me from behind and I fell down and lost conscious.
I gained conscious when I was in Nsambya hospital with bruises all over my body and pain in my chest.
But I was discharged from the hospital after a week, because my family could no longer pay the hospital bills.
I still feel pain in the chest and also find diffulties in breathing, but I can now sit, something that shows me an improvement. I have a belief that I will get healed.
Claire is living with her sister (name withheld) a farmer, in Mbale who harvests her crops often. She moves with Clair because she has no one to take care of her at home, so she carries her at the backseat of her car up to her farm in Mbale.
According to Claire, despite the fact that she gets exhausted and feels more pain while travelling, she gets a chance to meet her parents because that’s her home village. She said that her parents comfort her and give her hope that she will get healed.
As Holy Cross Family Ministries, we prayed with her, encouraged her to pray her rosary every day because ‘’a prayer works’’. We also encouraged her to take her medication as prescribed by the doctor, she will get well soon.
