In this month of November, we organize a requiem mass to pray for God's Mercy on the departed souls and the souls in purgatory.
This time around we held it on November 21st 2016 at our conference hall in Nsambya, Kampala.
The main celebrant was the assistant Parish Priest of St. Peter's Parish, Nsambya, Fr. Charles Ntege, co-celebrated by Fr. Leonard Olobo, CSC, and Director Holy Cross Family Ministries East Africa.
In his homily, Fr. Charles encouraged Christians not to fear death, ''Do not fear death because Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and life……noted Fr. Charles.
He also urged the Christians to always utilize this month of November and pray for the departed loved ones and not forget the souls in purgatory because they really need our prayers for God's Mercy on their souls.
The day was crowned with cleansing the souls at the Parish cemetery with ‘’Holy Water’’ and at least 30 Christians turned up for this day.
