Our workmate Ronie Tempa was attacked by goons and beaten terribly, his phone and money taken as he was heading back home yesterday at around 9 pm around Joint Medical Stores,Nsambya.
''I boarded a boda boda(motorcycle) to my home in Muyenga, as we were approaching Joint Medical Stores in Nsambya,a boda boda man stopped and told me how his brakes were faulty.
As i waited for him to repair them, i do not know what happened next, i found my self on the ground and surrounded by people and they told me i was beaten,my trouser was torn and blood was all over my face,i realized i was in Makindye near Land Mark Hotel.
I heard a boda boda man saying ''i picked him unconscious in Kizungu area and i helped him please take him to the hospital''.
I noticed a friend Sharon whom i asked to take me to the hospital and she took me to my sister's home just near International Hospital Kampala who rushed me to the hospital and i received medical attention.
But i am getting better though i have a big shore in the mouth which is so painful, glory be to God for the gift of life''………..narrated Ronie Tempa on our visit to check on him this morning.
